BAFTA winning film. Martin is a fisherman without a boat, his brother Steven having re-purposed it as a tourist tripper. With their childhood home now a get-away for London money, Martin is displaced to the estate above the harbour.

2019. Written by Adrian Bailey and directed by Mark Jenkin, HARD CRACKED THE WIND is a dark drama of poetry and haunting voices from beyond the grave.
HCTW was produced by Kate Byers, Denzil Monk and Linn Waite, premiered at Encounters Film Festival 2019, going on to screen at London Short FF, Leeds IFF, New York Film Festival, Cork FF, Rotterdam IFF, Dublin IFF, Indie Lisboa, and International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.
HCTW was supported by BFI NETWORK, Falmouth School of Film and Television, Culitivator and FEAST.
